MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS OCCUR IN CHILDREN BECAUSE THEIR MOTHERS TAKE DRUGS DURING PREGNANCY. I CONSIDER CLINICAL TRIALS TO BE A SHAM BECAUSE VOLUNTEERS CAN BE PAID £4,000 TO TAKE PART BUT BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO RISK THEIR HEALTH THEY DON'T ACTUALLY TAKE THE DRUG OR ALL THE TABLETS. AND SINCE IT'S USUALLY A NEW DRUG...THERE ARE NO DIAGNOSTIC TESTS TO CHECK A VOLUNTEER'S LEVEL TO CONFIRM THAT THEY HAVE ACTUALLY TAKEN THE DRUG.
PARTICIPANTS IN CLINICAL TRIALS ARE USUALLY PAID AFTER A VISIT FOR TESTS OR SCANS ETC AND MIGHT NOT WANT TO REPORT EVEN MINOR SIDE-EFFECTS BECAUSE THEY MIGHT WORRY THAT THEY WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE TRIAL AND THEY WANT THE MONEY SO THEY SAY THAT THEY'RE FINE SO THE LIST OF SIDE-EFFECTS IS NOT ACCURATE FOR A START.
IN THE INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES TO MEDICINE REGULATORY AGENCIES INTERNATIONALLY IN THEIR SUMMARY OF PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS (SPC), IT MIGHT BE STATED THAT THE SIDE-EFFECT ONLY OCCURS IN 1:10,000 PEOPLE.
WELL THIS TO MY MIND IS SIMPLY A NUMBER PLUCKED OUT OF THE AIR...BECAUSE TRIALS OFTEN INCLUDE LESS THAN 300 PEOPLE FOR PHASE 4 THE LAST PHASE WHICH USUALLY HAS THE GREATEST NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS...SO THEY CANNOT USE ANY MATHEMATICAL OR STATISTICAL FORMULA TO SAY THAT THE SIDE-EFFECT OCCURS IN LESS THAN 1 IN 10,000 PEOPLE!
AND TO ADD TO THE BS*... CLINICAL TRIALS ARE DESIGNED BY PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES WHOSE GOAL IS TO MAKE A PROFIT AND GET A RETURN FOR MILLIONS SPENT ON RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT...SO THEY CAN BE DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT SOME SIDE-EFFECTS ARE NOT UNCOVERED. TRIALS CAN ALSO BE BIASED WHEN A NEW DRUG IS BEING COMPARED TO AN EXISTING ONE.
AS A DRUG INFORMATION OFFICER FROM THE FORMER BRITISH DRUG COMPANY BEECHAMS (NOW PART OF GSK) SAID TO ME IN 1991 WHEN I ASKED HIM IF THERE WERE ANY STUDIES OF CHILDREN TAKING AMOXICILLIN WHICH INCLUDED MORE THAN 200 CHILDREN IN TOTAL, OR WHICH STUDIED CHILDREN WHO HAD TAKEN REPEAT COURSES OR STUDIED THEM FOR A LONG TIME AFTER THEY TOOK THE DRUG....

I spoke to him over the phone and am grateful to him for his comment as it has motivated me over the years. Perhaps he or his children had taken antibiotics such as ampicillin, amoxicillin or cephalosporins and had become hay fever or asthma sufferers.
I don't have anything against drug companies....antibiotics, anti-parasitic and antiprotozoal drugs such as Metronidazole (Flagyl) and Mebendazole (Vermox) can be a very quick way to eradicate certain bacteria and worms. However getting rid of flukes which breed on Watercress is not easy. Sometimes patients think that the diarrhoea, rash, fever or headache etc that they get after taking these drugs are side-effects and they stop taking it, not realising that sometimes when parasites die they can get a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction which looks like a rash and they should actually continue taking the drug, to ensure that more of the parasite or protozoans are killed. I have also connected with several CEOs of drug companies mostly from the Middle East and some senior employees in pharmaceutical companies because they're just like everyone else....just wanting a job to pay their mortgage and bills...and are at high risk of taking drugs and becoming Pharma victims.
